The De-Flapper Max is a much improved version of the original which was very narrow and took up to 2 or 3 to do the job of one of these.

**First of all, this keeps the awning from flapping back and forth while you are sitting out and you fear it will take off with a strong gust of wind.It keeps your awning in place and prevents rips and tears to the awning material which is costly to replace.

**The De-Flapper Max goes around the tubular frame of your awning with a hook and loop fastener strap and then grasps the awning with a strong extra wide gripper which keeps the awning taught and straight so that the wind can't catch hold of it.

** The grippers will not damage the awning material.The De-Flapper is made of a very strong nylon and polymer straps, UV protected and will not rust.It is universal so it will fit any awning.If you have a very large cover I would suggest using more than one on each side.
