Camelbak Keeps You Hydrated
By Alice onBefore my husband heads out for his nightly bike rides I make sure to have his camelbak ready and waiting with nice cold water with some ice added to it.
This camelback is the 1.5 litre/50 oz. size which seems to be just right for his 2 hour bike ride.He asked for this for his birthday a few years back when he got tired of reaching down for his water bottle while riding or having to stop completely.
It is very comfortable to wear measuring 13" x 7-1/2" x 1" and is the compact shorter length which is great for people with shorter torsos.
It weighs only 0.76 lbs. when empty and 3.88 lbs when the reservoir is filled with water. It is fully insulated to keep the liquid cool for hours.
Also included on this model is a 5 point bungee cinch system which holds extra clothing. My husband is a heavy sweater and will take another T-shirt to change into halfway through his ride. This is a great way for him to be able to that.
The Omega reservoir system is easy to fill and clean and is kept in place with a velcro closure.
My husband loves this hydro pak and says he is thinking of getting another Camelbak that holds more water so he can go for longer rides.I told him to stop at a gas station and fill up if need be!

Too nifty! It looks like you can carry a lot in this & it still be lightweight!
Sounds very nice. Thank you for sharing.
I want one of these for my hiking trips!
This is a great item to discuss. I was not knowing that there is something like this Hydro Bak. As now I came to know, I could suggest my friends and relative about it. Weather at our place are very extreme and it could of great use for a distant ride.
