My husband and his family hunt a lot and they were always bugged by mosquitoes. My father-in-law purchased one of these jackets and they loved it so much they bought one for my husband. In fact, I love it so much I might get one for myself now too! I do not hunt, but it is a great jacket for keeping bugs and mosquitoes from getting to you.
This jacket is made of a double layer of fine mesh. This particular model has fake leaves hanging from it to help hunters blend into their surrounding while hunting. There are other versions of it that do not have the leaves, which would be better for everyday uses. This jacket also has a hood and face shield made of the same mesh.
I always get bit by mosquitoes. Even if there is only one in the area, it will find me! I wore this jacket in the middle of the woods and never got bit. The only thing is that it gets a little hot and sticky if there is no wind to move through it. I would rather feel a little muggy than get bit by mosquitoes though!

I seriously need to look into buying one of these. My husband spends a lot of time hunting, and during bow season he is hounded by mosquitoes. There can be a group of people outside, and they swarm all over him. For whatever reason, he seems to attract them more than anyone else. This sounds like something he would love. Do you know where your FIL bought these jackets? Thanks!

We dont hunt but we all seem to wear camo,LOL.My youngest son would really love this jacket.

It is so amazing how hot and sticky a piece of mesh can feel.
Sounds like this jacket is great protection from the nasty mosquitoes.
