Camper's Shoes Are The B E S T By Andy Black on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Wow, I have worn a lot of shoes in my day, but none have topped Camper shoes. I got my first pair of Campers roughly ten years ago and I have been a loyal customer ever since. Styled after bowling shoes, my Pelotas (style) shoes get plenty of everyday wear and they are handsome enough for formal wear, depending on the venue. They never seem to need to be "broken in," which is a tremendous relief for me. And they last for years. I still have my first pair and, aside from a thinning sole, they are in excellent condition. The uppers really do last forever.

The only drawback in the quality of the shoes is how "quickly" the sole wears down. Granted, I wear them constantly and expect several years of wear-and-tear. The heel starts to wear out after the first 9 months or so, although it's still perfectly wearable and functional. I wish they re-soled because I like the bubbles and the red Camper button on bottom.

I give Camper all thumbs up. Check out their website, try on their shoes. You won't be sorry.

Never hear of this brand but they look like nice shoes from the picture in the ad on this page. :)
