Every now and then WalMart has toys at huge discounts in the bins in the middle of their main aisles. It was in one of the discount bins that I saw a $9.99 price drop and had to go and see what was on sale. Lo and behold it was Spongebob Monopoly! Being the Monopoly fan that I am, I just HAD to buy it!

The packaging for this game is truly unique. On the cover of the box is Spongebob Squarepant's face. His eyes are made out of special material that they look 3-D and seem to follow you when you look at them from different angles. My kids thought this was cool!

The game is rated Family and from ages 8+ so I knew my kids would enjoy it. What they liked even better was that the game was Bikini Bottom themed with all of their favourite characters from the cartoon. The game included 7 collectible tokens or Spongebob, Patrick, Gary, Squidward, Mr.Krab, Sandy and even Plankton.

This game follows the classic Monopoly rules but has a few differences:
