I was looking for a decent flashlight small and bright for my own personal use cause i needed to have it for my new job as a Deputy Sheriff. I went to Parro's and saw a light that I currently use at one of my jobs as a Security Officer it was the Streamlight Poly Stinger it comes with a rechargable battery and its designed as a patrol light so they have a home kit charger or a vehicle charger that will mount in the cruiser. I find this light to be very efficient and easy to handle. They make holders for it on your duty belt or its small enough that you can keep it right in your back pocket for when you need it. They have recently made the same models with LED lights which im sure is a little brighter but was more expensive. I have used this light for over 3 years and the only real flaw that I have found is that after a while the battery tends to loose some its life and the charge does not stay with it. You can replace the batteries. It is a good light for patrol
