This unique little product is one that my husband painted a few samples of when the owner was first getting into business. It's a local product from Ottawa, Canada and is available in a number of stores as well as on the internet.

The Candle Chapeau works both as an elegent decor enhancer and as a candle holder. The difference however is that it comes with a little "cap" called a "hugger" which is patent pending, that is placed on the top of a pillar candle once you've finished burning it to help reshape the candle so that it always retains it's roundness. Simply placing the "hugger" onto the candle while still burning, it also acts as a 'snifter' to put the candle out without having to blow it out and possibly cause hot wax to spill.

The one problem I found with the early production units was that the pillar candle wax tended to stick slightly to the "hugger" making it a bit difficult to remove when you wanted to use it next. But overall, these make a great decor statement and come in a number of colors to match almost any home.
