This camera is great for the person who wants a simple point and shoot yet, at times, might want some options to do something special. It has an eye viewfinder which is I find very helpful in bright sunlight when you it's difficult to see LCD display. The image stability is a wonderful feature that has been added since this camera first came on the market at the A700. The camera mode can be left on Automatic and just shoot. Or you can take some control and use the Program mode, which allows you some options like turning the flash on for fill in. The video and sound is excellent. And it has a stitch feature which can be used to take panorama pictures. The software that comes with the camera is also very easy to use.
