Canon Imagerunner 3530 By Megan8607 on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
We have this copier at work, and I have had quite a few occasions to try it out. The copier has many functions which include double sided printing, collating, stapling, and zoom. The copier can handle about a 1/2 inch stack of papers at a time, but, it sucks up more than one paper at a time quite frequently, which is not good for contracts and such. It also jams quite frequently, and the jams are hard to access. The touch screen is quite convenient, and it can handle all different sizes of paper. We have many problems with this copier, and find that we have a service technician out at least twice a month to fix one or more of the components. I find the unit very frusturating, and I hope we can get a different copier very soon.

Sounds like our copier, but I do like the two sided printing. Ours can't do that. Thanks for the info.
Thanks for the heads up on the number of service calls your office has had on this model.
Having repairs twice a month on your copier is so frustrating-I hope you're able to get a more reliable copier!!
I have heard others say that this is not a very good model of copier. I guess this is certainly one to stay away from. Thanks for sharing the information.
Sounds like your company might be better off purchasing a new copier. I would think that with that many service calls a new one would be cheaper in the long run.
I bet this is so frustrating when you are trying to get your work done :0(
Sorry that this copier is a disappointment. It is sometimes hard to find a really nice one. I always have quite a few problems with mine. I hope you are able to get a new one soon.
Wow, my work has a similar Canon copier with a lot of problems too, ours is less than a year old though, I doubt we'll get another new one anytime soon. Guess we'd just better make friends with the Canon repair man!
