Canon Pixma Mp460 By Ntmanning on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

When you purchase a computer at the Apple Store you get a $100 Rebate on almost all of the printers available in store. The Canon Pixma MP460 is a Printer/Scanner/Copier all in one. It is nice to have all three in the same package, but it has some drawbacks. If I would have gotten a printer at the same price, the printing resolution would be much higher. So this printer is alright for normal word documents and things like that, however you won't be printing high quality pictures off of it. For about $70 more I could have gotten the 3-In-1 with the higher print resolution.I had no problem hooking the printer up, with my MacBook Pro it was just plug in and go and it as ready to print. However, I did experience problems after a couple months where it said a paper was jammed and it wasn't. And there were other times where the paper did get jammed and brought up the error. It was frustrating, but I don't know what fixed it. After awhile it just went away and printed fine. It doesn't have top notch quality in printing resolution and it isn't extremely quick, but you can't expect all of that in a 3-In-1 printer at $100.
