Canon PIXMA MP600

We were in need of a new Printer/Scanner combo and we were directed to the Canon PIXMA600 by a department manger at Fry's Electronics.

This printer has fnatastic photo printing capabilities. I have copied photos with it for scrapbooks and you can not even tell a difference between the original photo and the copy. It has a very fast printing time. Will print multiple pages in just a few seconds time. The Canon 600 also has Digital Camera memory card slots where you can insert your memory card from your camera directly into the printer and print your photos straight from your memory card. The printer also has a USB port and can print photos directly from your camera.

It has an Auto Sheet Feeder and a Cassette. We use the cassette for plai paper and the auto sheet feeder for special paper (photo, magnetic, sticker, ect..). It is easy to switch betwen the two feeders by a button on the display panel.

This printer has a screen and a scroll wheel. You can either print directly from your computer or use the scroll wheel and screen to select options directly on your printer. I like this feature because I do nothave to use my computer to copy or scan itmes. I can do it all from my printer. I can also preview what I have copied or scanned before I print on the screen on the printer. A very handy feature.
