Canon Power Shot A530 By Raptor_007 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My parents primarily use this camera, and they are non-tech kind of people, so the fact that they're able to even use it is good. I can't really complain about it, it was a good price, takes pretty nice photos and and does really nice video. The screen size is a bit small these days, but not unacceptable. Probably the biggest problem I have with the camera is the recharge time for the flash. After you take a picture, it really does take a long time for the flash to be ready to be used again, like up to 8 seconds. I know it's already stored the image in the card becuase if you don't use the flash, it's ready to take another picture in like 1-2 seconds. Anyway, I probably wouldn't recommend the camera given what's available now, but if you find one on sale or used or something, it's not a bad product at all.
