Canon Power Shot A560 7.1 Mp Digital Camera By numero9 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Canon PowerShot A560 7.1MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom is your standard point-and-shoot camera. Don't expect to get miraculous pictures from this camera, as it is not a high-priced SLR – but most of the time you can get some stunning photos just the same. Remember: it is often the skill of the person behind the camera than the actual camera! It's comparably priced with most cameras of its caliber, and has an impressive 7.1 megapixels which is quickly becoming the norm. Stay away from the digital zoom, as it means nothing and makes pictures worse. The camera's regular zoom functions are just fine, as with any camera. Memory is expandable with a SD card, which is a plus – however, the pictures don't save as RAW files, and are automatically converted to JPG. If you're really stingy with photo editing, this could be a drawback. Otherwise, while a bit bulky, this is an all-purpose camera for just taking snapshots of your friends or trying to capture a picturesque scene.
