Canon Powershot A80 By Alon Alalouf on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My second digital camera is the Powershot A80, I've stayed with canon (after my Powershot A50), it's been a big step up functionalitywise and qualitywise speaking. Many new functions, and much more control over the camera since their older cameras.

The A80 offers a 4 Megapixel, takes pictures to a maximum of 2272 x 1704 resolution, 11x zoom max and a 1.8 inch LCD screen. uses 2 AA batteries (rechargable batteries are optional with an additional adapter). Uses CF Memory cards, and comes with a 32MB CF Card.

With the A80 you've got control over the camera's exposure, High ISO Rates, High quality video recording, High quality special effects including Sepia and black and white (much better than prior cameras). one of the best and important features of the camera are that it has an automatic angle flipper, meaning, the camera will flip you're image on you're LCD screen according to the angle you took the picture to straighten it on you're screen for easy viewing.
