Canon Power Shot Sd1000 Elph D Igital Camera By Corbet on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Canon PowerShot SD1000 ELPH Digital Camera is a ultra compact point and shoot camera. It is very small, even smaller then a credit card. It features a 7.1 Megapixel Digic III chip, 3x optical zoom, and Canon's next technology, autofocus face technology. It comes with a 32MB SD card, a rechargaeble battery, and strap. I purchased this camera because I was looking for a small form factor camera that I could take anywhere. I go to alot of live concerts and I always like to have some type of camera to capture the moment. My other Digital Cameras were very bulky and difficult to carry around so I got this one. Needless to say, I was very impressed with the camera in terms of image quality, size, and price. This camera is a steal at $200 and is great for everyone. It also has video capability which is really nice. A few things I think the camera is lacking is the 4x optical zoom the newest cameras have, 8.0 megapixels, and image stabilizer. Overall I really enjoy this camera and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a simple to use point-and-shoot camera.

wow I would like to try this camera. My digital camera is also bigger. It would be nice to have a camera that is this small but functional.
