Canon Power Shot Sd550 By PokeJoe on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I purchased this camera about 2 years ago. It's a 7.1 megapixel with a 2.5" LCD display and 3x optical zoom. It comes with a 32 mb SD card which I replaced with a 2GB model. You can purchase an underwater case for it, as well as a external flash, which cuts down on red eye considering how close the original flash is positioned to the lens. The camera is fairly fragile though, mine took a 2 foot tumble off of my monitor, cracking the LCD and popping off the front of the camera casing. I contancted Canon and shipped it to them and received it soon after, fully repaired with no hastle. It's packed with features and settings to make your pictures turn out the best they can be in whatever possible conditions you are in. Battery life should last you about 140-150 pictures. It can also capture videos in several different modes including 60 frames per second, albiet at a low resolution. It's a good camera in general and should be available for much cheaper now.
