Canon Power Shot Sd850 Is Good Image Stabilization By core on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Canon PowerShot SD850 IS has a very good design & very effective optical image stabilization to help keep the images sharp even if the hands aren't very steady. It has a 2.5-inch LCD screen on the camera back. The PowerShot SD850 IS performance is faster than that of the other similar models. It takes 1.2sec to start up and capture the JPEG image without the flash turned on & if the flash is turned on it takes 1.9sec, so the image capture is fast which makes this model outstanding other cameras.

The bad is that the there is no manual exposure controls, on/off button is a bit awkward and can find noisy image at ISO 1,600.

Overall this camera has a good performance and image quality. A solid image stabilization & face detection is the best features of this camera.

A bit pricey at about $239 but if you want good images and the ability to record too you have to pay it. :)
