If ever there was a must have camera this would be it the Canon Powershot. This camera has 8.0 megapixels and comes with a photo printer, it takes up to 1.3 shots per second.
I just purchase it for my daughter who is an aspiring photographer, and it is perfect for a nine year old it;s small and compavt with a photo printer so she can come home and print her pctures in the comfort of her own room, and the one one feature she absolutely adores is the fact that you can highlightoneface in a snap shot. Plus the canon powershot comes with a battery charger so you don't need to keep buying batteries.
It is also very versatile it has many different shooting modesauto, manual, digital, colour and it canalso shoot underwater.

I like the dual combo. What a gift for the beginner who wants to do photography. A battery charger is a great plus in the day of electronics with batteries.
