Canon Sd400 Digital Camera! By Florida_Gal on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This was my first digital camera and, as a basic model, did the job well. It took clear, focused pictures, was easy to use, and was very sleek looking! It can fit in most pockets and definitely in a small evening bag. Initially, set-up was very easy. The camera is one of those "point and click" models for someone with very little knowledge, but has enough advanced features to satisfy an expert.

However, as time went on, my camera repeatedly gave me an error message that said "memory card not found." 4 new memory cards later, I was still getting the message. The camera became unreliable because I never knew when I was going to get the error message, since it wasn't constant. Eventually, I replaced my beloved camera with a newer model, which does not give me the error message. One interesting thing to point out - the canon website has a page set up for this kind of message on the model, so newer versions may likely be problem free in this respect because the company is aware of the issue.
