Can't Stomach Cooking Mama For Ds By Mean_Queen on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I had heard great things about this game for the Wii, but the cost of that one lead me to buy the one for the Nintendo DS instead. Big mistake. In this game, you slice, dice, shake and bake your way through various recipes. Almost all of the recipes seem straight out of Japan, which is one of the few interesting things about this game. You use the stylus to cut by following dotted lines, chop by repeatedly tapping the screen, or mix by swirling the stylus around. It's just as exciting as it sounds. I find this game to be very boring and not challenging at all. I actually like to fail at the game though because Cooking Mama's eyes flame up in anger and it's funny. My 8 year old liked this game for a bit but also became easily bored. I don't think this is a great game for the DS.

I have played this and can't figure out if I love it or hate it! It is probably a toss up of both!
