Cap Barbell 30 Lb Hexagon Solid Dumbbell Weight By Alex Whynot on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

These Dumbells seem to be one of the highest quality solid hexagon dumbells around. I find them a lot better then the dumbells with the plates because the plates ushually take up more space. These are designed to take as little space as possible. There is a large selection in different weights you can buy. The company sells a variaty from 1 pound to 100+ pounds. The main problem i found with these weights are the grips. They are just rigid metal and it doesnt really help you grip. If you sweat much at all when you work out you really need to work hard to just keep a good grip on these weights. Work out gloves would really come in handy while using these weights. Also the paint on these weights seems to peel off after a while. its not a huge deal because the color underneath is pretty much the same color as the paint. All and all these weights still get the job done.

I think that having a poor grip would be an issue for me.
