I never needed or wanted a credit card. I didn't need one because my husband has great credit and we were able to get our house without me needing one. However about a month ago, I got a call about being pre approved for a Capital One Gold Mastercard. I thought it was a scam and normally don't take these calls but I did and just didn't give my personal information out. A few weeks later I had the credit card. I called to make sure it was legit and it was.
Even though I didn't want or need one. It did make my day. This is the newest Mastercard from my understanding. It is called a Gold paypass.
With a paypass Mastercard you can pay buy just tapping your card across the machine that just takes paypass. No signing anything for the small stuff, like coffee and stuff. If the place doesn't have the machine yet , don't worry as you can still pay by swiping the card.
With this card master card offers benefits such as Purchase insurance, extended warranty, car rental collision and water damage, up to 25,000 dollars accident insurance, delayed baggage, master road assist and global service. You are also protected with $0 fraud liability.
There are three easy ways to pay your credit card payments too. At your bank, by mail or pre authorized debt.

I have one of these and probably the most convenient thing about it is that I can now drop into any of my favorite Tim Horton's coffee shops, run my card over the machine and presto...my favorite beverage paid for. Mind you I don't do that very often...not wise to be paying interest on a cup of coffee but when I have no change (they don't take Debit for some reason) this works on those odd occasions :) My husband thinks I'm obsessed...a credit card for usually nothing but a coffee...but hey, works for me.
