Capitol Music Hall

My husband and I went to the Capitol Music Hall in Wheeling, West Virginia a few years back. It is right in the heart of the downtown older section of Wheeling. We went for a country music show and saw singer Sammy Kershaw. At first I thought the outside of the place didn't look very nice, but once inside it really is very nice. It is older and was built in 1928. There is one hotel a few blocks from the Capitol Music Hall, the rest of the Wheeling hotels are across the river in the newer section of Wheeling. We really enjoyed the concert and thought the sound and lighting were excellent. They gave us a pamphlet on the singer with a little history about him when we entered, so that was a nice bonus. This music hall also offers broadway musicals, oldies shows, Las Vegas acts, and is home to the Jamboree USA concert. It was a nice time and I'm sure we will return again sometime.
