Just before last Christmas my husband bought me the Sony Handycam camcorder. I love it because it is small and easy to handle. I also like the fact that there is a screen available so that you can view what you are recording at all times. The Handycam is portable and very lightweight, so someone at just about any age will find it easy to hang on to. I do have a few issues with this product though. The first one is that it is difficult to figure out how to finalize the disk and the tapings. Unless you have read through the huge instruction book, you wont be able to figure it out easily. I also found that simply turning the camcorder on and off is also a challenge. The camcorder works with a DVD disk so it has to be finalized or broken into sections in order to move to the next scene. For the money this is a difficult device to thoroughly understand.
