The summer one is usually a great one as many people are getting ready to PCS or move to different duty stations. We usually compile a list of items we are looking for then we split up. These two way radios have come in handy when either one of us has found a treasure and need confirmation as whether or not to buy it.
These two way radios possess an outdoor range of up to five miles. Call tones notify users before they start talking. They are weather resistant, have an audible low battery alert, are compact, and most important, they are easy to use. Weighing in at 1.5 pounds, you can easily fit them in the palm of your hand or in your pants pocket. Reception is superb and my sons love to play around with them! Cell phones are making this type of radio obsolete but they are sure a lot of fun to use.!

We have these for our kids for when we dont want their cell phones on them like when they are on ATV's or whatnot.

That's a really great deal, because a two mile range set cost around $35 to $40 dollars. We use to talk to each from car to car on trip where me had more than one car in our group. Thanks for sharing.
