Carbon Monoxide Alarm Got Hubby In Trouble

When we bought our house it didn't have a Carbon Monoxide Alarm. My husband made sure that we installed one the first week we moved into our new home. Which was a smart idea. However , we have a garage with an old classic car in there. And on some weekends my husbands buddies come over to have a few beers and talk and admire my husbands car and talk about other guy stuff. Well one day I believe my husband had one to many and decided to start up and show off his car in the garage with the door closed. Amazing the sound of the car revving never woke me or the kids up but it did set of the Carbon Monoxide Alarm. And thank God it did. The Alarm however did wake me up. Needless to say the look on my husbands face when I opened up the garage door and had "the look" the evil eye and scolded him like a child in front of all his friends too. I couldn't believe it we install this Carbon Monoxide Alarm and it was my husband that ended up being the one to set it off and indangering us all as far as I was concerned, with his stupidity that night. So my point is make sure you have one of these as you never know when it will be needed. Kiddie is the brand we purchased and it was that one that woke me up too. Great one to purchase.
