Carmex Lip Balm By Bubbacat By bubbacat on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I have used Carmex lip balm for quite some time now. I don't use it everday but only when my lips get dry. Recently my lips got really dry so it was time to apply Carmex. After just two applications, I noticed a difference. It works! Sometimes you see those fancy lip balms for sale, but they just don't work as well. I used to purchase and have the squeeze tube. I liked it but bought the click stick at the store a couple days ago. I like it much better. It makes a slight clicking noise as you turn the stick. Carmex has an SPF of 15. It would be a good lip balm for sports and any outdoor activity. I just can't believe the information you can find on the back of the product boxes. Alfred Woelbing invented Carmex in Milwaukee in the 1930's. He had cold sores and chapped lips so he invented this lip balm. The balm was hand-poured into glass jars and sold to pharmacists out of his trunk as stated on the label. The family still runs the business and answers all e-mails and letters. What do you think about that? This is true belief in your product and great business people. I didn't know that carmex comes in flavors. I only saw and bought the original. I will have to check out the others possibly on their website at www.carma-labs.com. This product is not tested on animals. The label actually states that the product is tested on family. How do you like that? This is a family business devoted to you, the consumer. I like it! Not to mention, there is a money back guarantee too!

Sounds like a good product. I like the fact that they don't test on animals.

It is good that they didn't test on poor animals who cannot even stand up for themselves.Must be a good product and I always love to go for money back guarantee feature in case I am not satisfied with it.Thanks for sharing!
