Carnival Cruises are know in the cruise line industry as being one of the best and one of the most affordable cruise lines. The carnival cruise that my family took was no exception. We had a wonderful time and it was realitvely inexpensive way to vacation. All of your meals were included and there were various options for your dining. You could take advantage of the fine dining experience by going to the formal dining room for breakfast, lunch and diner or you could try out one of the speciality places for pizza, burgers and frys or the buffet style cafe that they also offered. I highly suggest giving them all a try and find what best suits you and your family. There was plenty to do on board as well as at the ports of call. You should never be boared on board. My suggestions is to try the tea time in the piano lounge which was a nice treat. Also keep in mind that the kid friendly really only applies during the day. Children were not allowed at the mid night buffets and we also we asked not to go into the pools since our daughter was in pull ups and used swimmies at the time. This was a little discouraging but we managed to just go to one of the many pools where there was no one else. They also have a childrens pool area which never was occupied. Cruising on carnival was a great first cruise for us and we are looking forward to making another cruise and trying out some other ships next time.
