Carnival Cruise Lines For All Ages By Timekeeper on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

We took our honeymoon cruise on Carnival Cruise Lines in May. It was wonderful and then some! We wanted a warm vacation that visited lots of places since my husband had never left the united states. We were drawn to the "fun" ship atmosphere and the locations it visited. We were on a 7 day cruise from San Juan, Puerto Rico. We chose to leave from San Juan so we had less time at sea and more time to visit, shop and eat. We visited St. Thomas, St. Lucia, Guadalupe, Grenada, and Dominican Republic on our cruise. Our shore excursions were snorkeling, shopping, riding horseback on the beach, touring a rum factory, visiting crater lake and overall island driving tours.

Our room on the ship was small but had enough storage and sleeping room. We had a room with the ocean view which was very nice but we were in the front of the ship which gave us a long walk down the hallway every day. The food was very good and as much of it as you would like. The only downside with the food is the anchovies on the Cesar salad. We visited the midnight buffet often, the pizza and salad bar for lunch and never made it to a breakfast. We loved our experience, met a lot of nice people and our whole table at dinner was newly weds!
