I have always loved James Bond movies, and this one reaffirmed my faith in 007. Even people who haven't liked the old James Bond movies have liked this one. Casino Royale is the latest of the 007 movie series, but is the beginning to the James Bond story, showing how he gained his 007 status and began his career as a spy. Daniel Craig is amazing as a young James Bond, you can see him take his character through the changes that begin to shape the personality and lifestyle of James Bond as we have come to him. I know a lot of people that have begun to think the James Bond movies have become ridiculous, and too tongue-in-cheek, but this movie has changed all that. From the opening scene, wihch evoked plenty of gasps from the audience in the movie theater, to the last, there is non-stop action, great acting, and amazing direction and scenery. I could not recommend this DVD more.
