Casio Exilim Ex S770 Review By lordofdarkness66 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
This very slim, very small, very compact digital camera is a good one. It takes pictures at a 7.2 megapixel resolution. This means excellent, detailed and colorful images are captured. Very obvious once you transfer the pictures to a PC. It has a 3x Optical Zoom which means the camera can zoom in up to 3 times the distance of an object. The 2.8" LCD display is one of the largest displays in digital cameras. The internal memory of the camera is 6 MB and can be further expanded by an SD card. The battery lasts up to 200 shots. The camera takes up to 5 seconds to charge up between shots. Its video recording quality is excellent and is good enough to be viewed on a TV. It has a macro focus capability to focus on a small, specific object. From what I understand, these sort of pictures are suitable for EBay and therefore called EBay mode. It is supposed to have a software to convert document files and web pages into JPEG images so that it can be viewed on the camera but I never could figure it out. The only two disappointments are the camera's zooming range and it's battery life. For a good camera like this, I would've expected at least 4x Optical Zoom. And 200 shots is too little before the battery runs out. Otherwise, a good, buyable camera at $380.
