Yet another digital camera by Casio. The S880 comes with an 8 megapixel resolution. A fairly good resolution. The zooming capabilities are 3.0x Optical Zoom and 4x Digital Zoom. As if the optical zoom range isn't disappointing enough, it seems like the range isn't exactly 3x but slightly lesser. I found this out when i noticed that further pictures were quite blur compared to pictures taken from a different camera with 3x optical zoom. The 2.8" LCD screen is bright and not much interference is observed when looking at it under daylight. It has a 10.8MB internal memory which can be further expanded by SD, SDHC or MMC cards. The camera is capable of face detection and has low blurring. However the best feature of this camera is something called the Youtube capture. It allows multiple videos to be uploaded from the camera directly to Youtube. For those of you who enjoy sharing a funny moment or two on Youtube, this camera is your solution. To top it all off the $300 price tag makes it worth while buying. Good job Casio.
