Casio Exilim EX-Z1000

I received this camera originally as a gift before my trip to New Mexico, I chose the camera myself based on previous products I had seen in the Exilim line of of products. As far as a consumer level product goes this camera is great. At 10 megapixels and an incredible optical zoom paired with a very good digital zoom for $250 you really cannot go wrong. The camera has a docking station for charging and for USB uploading of pictures which I find to be a great feature since you do not have to remove the battery to charge the camera. I was so pleased with this camera that after carelessly driving away with it on the roof of my car I decided to buy the exact same one from ebay. I never had any problems technically with the camera which is good due to the fact that I did not have a warranty, but I do know that Casio offers a lifetime warranty against accidental damages for a relatively small charge. Highly reccomend this camera to any vacationer, or anyone who just likes to take pictures. Just keep in mind that this camera came before a lot of image stabilazation features so you have to hold relatively still while taking a picture.
