The Casio fx82AU PLUS is a scientific calculator with thousands of scientific functions. Approved by the Board of Studies in Australia, this calculator is excellent for any type of mathematical calculation, especially that required in NSW's top selective schools.

Seeing as many schools encourage students to purchase this calculator, most of them end up at the bottom of school bags squished by heavy books. Therefore, a durable design has been chosen, with the calculator sold with a plastic cover which also contains handy information such as input methods on the calculator.

Functions such as trigonometry (sin/cos/tan plus the inverts) and fraction input are included. Battery life is excellent with the provided AA battery. However, sometimes the calculator refuses to turn on so you must crash it against the table for a response.

The only calculator with more functions is Microsoft Math; a computer program worth $29.99. Nevertheless, the Casio fx82AU PLUS is still the ultimate scientific calculator...without the requirement of a computer.
