Cat Girl Mug

Ooh, another Christmas Tree Shops find. That's right! I bought this at a Christmas Tree Shops a few years back. You can get a lot of affordable things there, which I love. I remember this mug being a steal: only $1. It is not only inexpensive, it's also cute and feels like it is made out of quality ceramic.
The mug has a nice weight to it. It is a little heavy, but not too heavy. The handle is the perfect size for my hand. It has the perfect width.
It is 4 1/2 inches tall and was made in China.
The front and back have the same design: a girl with two cats. I only have one cat, but since the cup was such a good deal and I am a "Cat Girl," I bought it.
Some design elements I like are the borders at the top and at the bottom of the mug. I also like that girl in the picture is a brunette and dressed casually. I feel a kinship with that. It is definitely an outfit I would want to wear.
The mug has held up quite well after all this time. It is about 3 - 4 years old. The damage it has is a small chip on the bottom. For a $1, I would have expected much worse quality.

I LOVE Christmas Tree Shops and went there often when I lived in New England. Unfortunately, they aren't in the Midwest, but I always visit them when I can. They have amazing bargains.
