CD Car Player, Big Bang For The Buck!
By karlawmcdonald onWhen the CD player in my beloved Blazer started messing up by skipping and scratching Cd's I knew it was time to do something. When we take long trips we play a lot of Cd's in order to avoid radio towers voids on the roads, I hate radio static.
The first place I went, as usual, was Wal-Mart. I told the guys at the counter that I did not want to spend a lot of money, I was not interested in blaring my stereo. I just wanted clear sound quality at a reasonable price. They ended up pointing out a few different one.
This one has an orange glow which is something I personally like, especially since we are University of Tennessee fans. ;)
You can also preset 30 stations, it is an Am/FM/CD Receiver. It also has a detachable mechanical face plate, which I have never taken off but it supposedly a safety device.
I personally like this system and it was in the price range I was looking for, my husband was able to install it in a matter of minutes. Keep in mind we left the existing speakers in since nothing was wrong with them

You're like me-I always head to WalMart too!! You have some nice features on your radio & the prices sounds right kiddo!
This sounds like a great cd/radio player. Very nice.
something to keep in mind when we buy for the replacement.. thanks for the info..
Looks like it sure is a good car audio and reasonable price too.
I've always had bad luck with Durabrand but glad to see it has worked out better for you then it has for me.
A good system at a decent price! What a shopper! :-)
Good price, easy install, quality radio, I think you found a winner!
Sounds like you got a good deal on that stereo!
Sounds like a very nice stereo. Thanks for sharing.
