Celica R14 Toyo Tyres Cheaper At The Wreckers By theuniGuy on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Ok well, in the process of buying numerous parts for my celica project car, i ended up buying a set of 4 near new tyres from Boss Wreckers, Tingalpa. Manly people don't know, but tyres with very good tread can be bought from wreckers, at a very very cheap price.

I managed to pick up 2 Toyo brand tyres for my celica, not including rims, comming to the price of $44. Although seemingly cheap, i must admit, getting the previous tyres taking off, toyoa rims added, as well as a fitting and balancing with weights, the price came to about $50 Australian per tyre. Being a bit under half price of a standard Toyo tyre, makes going to your local car wrecker a valid option for all your tyre needs.

Just be careful, some tread is better then others :)
