The Centric Point Hostel in Barcelona, Spain is located right near Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas, putting it in an excellent location to explore. It is also near La Pedrera and the Block of Discord on Passeig de Gracia. The hostel itself is clean and the employees are absurdly friendly. They go out of their way to organize tours of the city (Gaudi tours, Gothic tours, Club tours) and organize special events like Salsa night and trips to the Running of the Bulls for a reasonable cost. Furthermore, a hearty (for a hostel!) breakfast is provided and the hostel feels very safe due to the security guard standing outside. This hostel is right in the middle of the action, but is still quiet and provides a good night sleep. Lots of good restaurants are located nearby, so tapas are readily available whenever they're needed.
