I have taken Centrum before. I bought a whole bottle, although in our city we can just buy them in retail. I bought the whole bottle because everything will come out cheaper. I thought it would be good for both my hubby and myself so that at least we can remind each other of our vitamins and don't have to check on the other stuff. We thought it was complete.
But what happened was, everytime we took Centrum, which was usually after breakfast, our hyperacidity would act up. My husband just suffered some gas pains, but I threw up. I didn't attribute this to the vitamin at first but after a few days, I suspected that it was Centrum that was causing the hyperacidity.
Anyway, I then cut the Centrum pill in half and so my husband and I got to share a single capsule. It was better.
It was still difficult to swallow though.
I am now taking locally made vitamin brands. No more US made Centrum. Too much for me.

Did it have iron in it? Sometimes the iron will make you nauseated in a multivitamin.
This is a really odd reaction to a vitamin I think! Was it some special formula?
It might be a filler causing this reaction. Which is why I stick with GNC. Their multi's are superb.
