Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser By circusmama on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I first read about Cetaphil online as being one of the best cleansing products for people with rosacea. Being a person who has rosacea, I gave it a try.

Cetaphil is non-comedogenic, nonalkaline, and fragrance free. Basically, not containing most of what sensitive skin will react to. While Cetaphil does nothing further to irritate my skin, it unfortunately did not get my skin clean. I felt like it left a greasy residue. Also, while using it exclusively, I started breaking out frequently.

I know they make different types of this cleanser, but the one I got in the blue bottle was not effective. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with rosacea unless you have very dry skin as well. If you have any oil on your face at all, this will really make it worse.

I agree with you. I see so many people use this product but I got the same feel on my skin. I also started to break out-not for me.
