Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion By circusmama on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I purchased this product as a moisturizer to go along with the Cetaphil cleanser, and I really wish I hadn't.

I have rosacea, so I've been trying a lot of different facial care products over the past year - some expensive and some inexpensive. Cetaphil is one that comes up as recommended on internet searches, so I gave it a try.

Unfortunately, this moisturizer left my skin so greasy that it seemed the majority of the pores on my face got blocked overnight. It was awful. I think they meant this for people with very dry skin. Some people with rosacea have dry skin, but I seem to have gotten stuck with the red and slightly oily skin variety.

Overall, I would not recommend this unless you have seriously dry skin. I might save it to use on my elbows this winter, but I will definitely not use it on my face again.
