Unfortunately, I have an addiction to Chapstick. Although when first using this product, it soothes your lips and can be used sparingly. Once you have used the product for some time, your lips develop an addicition to the product. Over time this product actually dries out the skin on your lips, creating a burning sensation when not applied for a short period of time.

I always have a tube of chapstick in my pocket and one on my nightstand to apply at will. I favor the original flavor because it does not have a color when applied. I also favor the taste of the priginal flavor. Luckily the price is inexpensive and I am able to use the product sparingly. I go through a tube about once a month, but need to have it with me at all times.

For temporary relief, I recommend this product. I do not recommend the product over a long use of time.
