I couldn't tell you the last time I had peanut brittle but after I was offered a sample of this chardonnay wine brittle after asking an employee if it was worth the money, I have become an addicted fan!

Annette of Annette's Chocolates and her brother Brent make all of their candy and brittle at their Napa Valley shop. The sweet taste of the butter and wine along with the crunchy spanish peanuts combine to make this a delicious yet light and crispy brittle that you have to experience to know this is not just something you can buy anywhere. You can bite off a piece easily or snap a larger piece into smaller ones without a problem. It hardly ever sticks to your teeth unless you have way too much in your mouth (I've done that!).

The ingredients are spanish peanuts, sugar, corn syrup, butter, chardonnay wine, vanilla, baking soda and salt. A serving size is 1-1/2 oz. and 180 calories (worth every sinful one to me).
