Charge up those Wii controllers
By Maliki2 onOne thing you will notice about your Wii when you first get it is the large amount of batteries you will burn through on the controllers. This is why I went out and purchased my Gigaware Wii Recharge station. This station will charge 2 controllers at a time (Gigaware makes a 4 station charger as well). Included is the station, 2 rechargable batteries, and a USB cable. The usb cable plugs in to the control station and into the Wii USB port to power the station. The two batteries are a basic battery and cover that you pop into your controllers. Charging takes around 6 hours for a full charge but gets you roughly 40 hours worth of play time.
One thing I did not like is that you must remove you rubber controller protector before you can plug the controller into the charge station. The station also has lights that come on when the controller is plugged in, red and blue, for charging and charged.
For $30 bucks this thing can save you alot of time and alot of batteries!

I have found the same problem, with removal of the covers.
I totally agree with you about the amount of batteries used with the controllers, I bought the charging station there at Xmas and have seen such a difference, but it is a pain having to take off the covers all the time.
