My child fell in love with this little Elmo in the store. He is about 10 inches tall and his mouth is cut half way around his head so the top half of his head flaps up when you shake it. He has many sayings that he says. He only talks when his head is flapped up so it makes it seem like he is talking then being quiet to play a game with the child. He does his famous laugh, sings a scale, and says some other phrases like "yippy ki yi ya". This was attached to my child for a week. Then it fell into the toy abyss. There are such few sayings I think that children will get bored with this toy. This is a toy I would only recommend if your child really really likes Elmo. Otherwise you'll be spending your money and then watching the toy sit.
