cheap in price, but high in quality

the iMode iPod docking station was very appealing when i first saw it on the shelf at the store... it had a nice design, came with a built in alarm clock, and of course, charged your iPod. it was also only $30, and i was short on cash for another iHome(i had to trade mine to get out of debt), so i bought it hoping it was as good as it seemed at the store. when i got home i unpackaged it and plugged it in... of course, it charges the ipod great, the buttons are easy to use, and it has a nice little remote.

it also has pretty good sound quality, which i wasnt expecting for $30. it is definitely better than any laptop speakers youll ever have in your laptop. i was actually quite happy with the sound and speakers, the remote is quite easy to use also, and if youre close enough you can just control the ipod by hand.

the dock also has an alarm clock which can wake you up to the radio, a song on your ipod, or the classic "annoy the heck outta you until you get up" beep noise. the alarm clock is also very easy to use and works very well. although i dont use it very often(i usually use my laptop as an alarm clock), the times that i do use it, it wakes me up calmly and slowly, which i prefer over killing you until you get up. im am planning on starting to use that feature more so that i can shut off my computer at night and save energy, but until then ill have to stick with my current set up.

well, those are the three main features, charging you ipod, playing your music, and waking you up. of course, it also has a clock which is easy to set, a remote control for everything on the dock, and the design also makes it very easy to move from place to place.

over all, i have enjoyed this dock, almost as much as my ihome, and am planning on getting another few good years out of it before getting a new dock...i am gonna give it a perfect score.

Update On Jul 06, 2009: I forgot to mention, it also has a radio. I cant give an accurate account on its radio because ive never used it, but im sure it works great and wont disappoint like the rest of the dock.
