By tldann onFirst let me say that if you don't desperately need money then don't go to a cash advance place.But with that being said, if you are desperate then try Check Into Cash.
Last year I was strapped so I had to wait until the last minute to go Christmas shopping.I foolishly thought that since payday was December 25th, that my company would pay us early.They didn't and they didn't tell us that they werent going to until December 20th.
I was going to take this check to buy my sons Santa Claus present.We get him small presents but Santa Claus gets him his one BIG present every year.How could I not get him his Santa Claus present.
So i went to Check into Cash and it was easy, quick and they were very friendly.They were even polite when we paid a few days late because of the holiday rush.
I was very surprised and pleased with their customer service.
I'm very cautious about these check cashing places, but I think if their services are used right they can be a great help in desperate times.
I guess if you really have to, they provide a service that used to be covered by family. Glad it's not something you have to do very often!
You are right in warning others to stay away from these type of places, unless absolutely necessary!! It used to be called loan sharking, now they have legitimate businessess!!!

That is nice that they have good customer service. Unfortunately, this is a rare thing.
How bad were the fees? Sounds like a better option than a credit card advance.
I do think that cash advance places are a nice backup to have but I hope others seek other options first if that's possible-this truly worked out great for you & your Christmas!
