Reviewing: Chef's Choice International 677 1 3/4 Qt. Cordless Teakettle
Purchased at: J.C. Penney     Price: $29.99 USD

I just love a cup of hot tea first thing in the morning.I burned up my last tea kettle because the whistle mechanism had broken, so I needed to find a new one.

I was checking the clearance table at J.C. Penney one day for a new kettle, since a couple of years previous I had found my last tea kettle for a really good price there. I was disappointed to find there were no stove top kettles on clearance. I almost walked away until I noticed in the small appliance area, a box with a picture of an electric kettle. I had never owned one of these before, but I was getting tired of heating my tea water in a sauce pan and so I bought it. After all, it was on clearance!

What a find! I didn't know until I tried it that it heats water in two minutes tops. It takes a little longer if I fill it all the way, but still very quick. You know that old saying, "A watched pot never boils"? Don't believe it! Istand and wait for this one to boil and then take my tea with me to get ready in the morning. It's great - I love it! Try one yourself for your hot water needs, you sure won't be sorry.

Cordless? So you charge it up and then you can do hot water anywhere?
