I own just a few of the Cherished Teddies figurines. They are just adorable. They make me smile whenever I look at them. The one pictured is called Bundled up with warm wishes. You can buy holiday themed bears, or special occasions, even teddies with Disney characters.
They can be bought at Hallmark stores and other stores that carry collectibles. They usually average around $20 to $30 each, so they are very affordable to collect. They are made of resin and are hand painted. Because resin is a little more durable than china or ceramic, you don't have to worry as much about chipping or breaking if they accidentally get knocked over.
Each Cherished Teddy comes packaged with their own adoption certificate. On the bottom of each figurine is a handwritten registration number.
The Cherished Teddies collection debuted in the United States in 1992 with 16 teddy bear figurines. It is now one of the world's leading teddy bear collectible brands. There is even a Cherished Teddies Club you can join to receive special offers and invitations to special events.
Cherished teddies make great gifts for any occasion or just a nice collection to have for yourself. I hope to collect more in the future.
