Cherry Blossom Almond Hand Soap
By janetlynn onWe needed new hand soap for the bathroom and I normally buy lavendar or watermelon scents. Or sometimes just an unscented one.
This time I saw The Dial Corporation just came out with one I had not yet seen. It's a Cherry Blossom and Almond Pump Hand Soap. For anyone familiar with the regular/original version of Jergen's hand lotion ... well, this hand soap smells exactly like that lotion. That is my favorite scent and reminds me of being a little girl remembering my mom always using that lotion. It's a pleasant scent for me. But this soap is not made from the same company as the lotion, so I was surprised. But you can't trademark a scent and I am glad that Dial came out with this one!
I normally find Dial soaps a little hard, but this hand soap is great. Most of their soaps seem to be anti-bacterial and theydry my skin out and sometimes make me sneeze. Guess I am allergic to the anti-bacterial stuff they use?
My husband loves the smell of this soap too and tells me EVERY time he washes his hands! Ok, so I understand the scent is nice, but every time?
It's gentle and suds up nicely.
There is a slight pink tint to the soap. The scent isn't so overpowering that men won't like it. They actually do like it and it seems I will be buying this one for both our bathrooms now. If they come out with a bar soap, I'm definitely buying that too.
